We are a firm of chartered accountants, primarily concentrating on the special needs of independent businesses, local governments and not-for-profit organizations. We have offices in Barrie, Bracebridge and Gravenhurst to service clients in the Simcoe/ Muskoka area.
We have the capability to present our clients with a full range of comprehensive services, while also retaining the flexibility and attention to detail that is needed to focus on individual client needs.
We prepare Notice to Reader, Review Engagements and Audit Engagements for a variety of users including owner-managers, banks, shareholders, taxation and other government agencies. We also prepare special purpose reports for lenders.
We ensure that our partners and staff are accessible and able to provide you with an objective perspective. We organize ourselves to anticipate our clients' needs to be able to deliver value-added service. We take the time to become fully acquainted with the client’s operating environment and the pressures they face.
Our staff are fully conversant with most of the common business accounting software including QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, AccPac, Business Visions, Proven Solutions. We also use Caseware to assist with audit engagements for ease of consolidation of client general ledgers with a large number of accounts and balances. Caseware allows for easy sharing of the same information which assists our staff to be responsive in advising on revisions to financial reporting requirements familiar to staff. We focus on providing prompt answers to telephone requests or e-mails from clients. We prefer to assist our clients in making the appropriate accounting decisions the first time, recognizing changes later in the audit process are expensive.
